Adam Hlozek is one of the most promising players of the 2002 generation worldwide. Being at Sparta Praha until 22/23, in which he makes the jump to Bayer Leverkusen for 13 million euros + 30% of a future sale, has allowed him to accumulate a lot of experience in both national and international competition.

Style of Play

He is a player who can act as a center forward or second striker, being able to play both alone and with another striker. Very good with both feet, with a great variety of resources to finish, is what stands out the most at a technical level, being very effective in front of goal. In other technical aspects, he is a balanced player, having no problems with control or passing. Although he doesn’t make much use of dribbling, he could excel at it.

Taking advantage of his jump, both in aerial duels and to strike, makes him one of the most outstanding players in the world in this aspect. His acceleration makes him very dangerous in counter attacks and off-the-ball movements.

At a tactical level he understands football very well in his positioning while receiving balls. In addition to playing as a striker, he can act as a winger, as he has done before, where he has had several high-level defensive performances.

Injuries

Without a worrying injury profile, he did have a broken metatarsal in the 20/21 season that left him out of the team for 4 months.

Projection

His arrival at Bayer 04 Leverkusen seems like an ideal step in his career, where he can enjoy continuity. His level and his adaptation to the Bundesliga will not be a problem since he is a player prepared to jump to a big league for many months. If he develops well over the next 2-3 seasons he will be targeted by the top teams in Europe.
