Aníbal Moreno happens to be one of the most outstanding players of Fernando Gago’s Racing de Avellaneda. Trained at Newell’s, he arrived at Racing in exchange for €2M (50%) in 2021.
Style of Play
He is a central midfielder who can act in any of the midfield positions. His main feature is shooting from long range, although he can’t appear in offensive zones easily. He is a player used to being in the defensive end building the game, using a lot of safe passing.
He has great power when it comes to carrying the ball, overcoming the first line of pressure thanks to his long stride, and he’s also a very important player on counterattacks.
On a defensive level he makes use of his speed to recover many balls and must improve his decision-making.
Injuries

Projection
