Gianluca Scamacca is one of the great talents of Italian football. It has been difficult for him to achieve continued performance at a senior level but the 21/22 season helped him to consolidate himself and sign for West Ham for 36 million euros. Having been in a club like Sassuolo and coinciding in time with the explosion of Vlahovic, has made him go unnoticed until he reached the Premier League.
Style of Play
He is a striker with an exceptional physique, quick movements and a technical level rarely seen in a player of his stature.
His link-up play moving away from the area is excellent, having the ability to protect the ball and with a very quick first gesture thanks to the way he adapts his body when receiving.
He is a finisher who has not shown all of his goalscoring ability. He has a shot of a power that is hardly comparable in elite football, needing not to rush in making decisions, since he looks for a shot from unfavorable situations. He also has a good header, being very dangerous from set pieces.
His aggressiveness when running, pressing and in duels make him a very uncomfortable player for his opponents.

Projection
The Premier League and the David Moyes system promise to be the perfect place to see him grow to the highest level. I believe that he will make the leap to one of the great teams in Europe in 2-3 seasons, since he has all the conditions to easily score 15 goals per season.
