Iván Fresneda is one of the most promising right backs. He is a balanced player, who contributes both defensively and offensively. With the ball, his passing stands out, being a very useful player in the build-up. He also has a good cross and his pace makes him a very difficult player to defend. He needs to contribute more goals and assists.

In defense he has an excellent tackle and great work rate being very brave. He has great instinct, showing aggressiveness in 1v1 situations. When he makes a mistake he fixes it with his speed, recovering the position with ease. Despite being an athletic player, he needs to improve in aerial duels, suffering when he has to defend big players.
