The United States and Wales closed the second day of the Qatar 2022 World Cup with a match that had many alternatives.

The first half was clearly dominated by the USA, with dynamic ball possession, good decision making and speed in all actions. This gave the USA a 1-0 lead at half-time.

However, in the 2nd half Wales began to attack in the 55th minute, imposing their physicality and experience, to end up balancing the match with a penalty scored by Gareth Bale.
